Chocolate Shaped Sardines by Simón Coll

There’s something extremely fishy about these sardines…

…they’re not fish at all, they’re crafted from the finest and creamiest milk chocolate!

Simón Coll is a family business based in Catalonia that has been in the chocolatier game since 1840. They also own Amatller, another favourite of Harvey Nichols. Here, they’ve fashioned cute little fish-shaped chocolates, wrapped them in shiny aluminium foil and tucked them neatly into a cardboard box that looks exactly like a tin of sardines. Obviously there’s actually nothing fishy about the chocolate at all; it’s rich, smooth and creamy with a lingering vanilla note. A great gift for children (who will probably much prefer them to the stinky real sardines) and big kids alike.
