454g Bag Frozen Whitebait.
Whitebait: small fish, no coating
Blanchbait: crispy coating
Whitebait are best defrosted and then coated in a little flour seasoned with salt and cracked pepper or paprika, and then deep fried. You don't need a deep fat fryer, just a large saucepan with a couple of inches of oil in the bottom. Get the oil super-hot and drop in the fish a few at a time. Once they've coloured up, they're good to go!
