Big Spicy Olives by La Ribera
When we say big we mean BIG, these big juicy Gordal olives with their firm texture and buttery taste are grown exclusively in Andalusia and packed in Barcelona by La Ribera. Marinated in cayenne pepper, jalapeño and garlic with each jar featuring a few guindilla peppers for good measure these are the perfect accompaniment to a cold beer or a chilled glass of white wine.
La Ribera celebrate their 80th year in business in 2026. Starting life importing cod from the Nordics to turn into bacalao (salt cod) they have become an institution in Barcelona supplying restaurants and delis across Spain from their shop in El Born.
We deliver your fish ourselves in our refrigerated van, ensuring it stays at the perfect temperature from our shop to your doorstep. We currently deliver Tuesday to Saturday across selected London postcodes, including SW, SE, CR, W1 and W2.
Prefer to pick up your order? Order online and collect your fresh fish from either of our London shops in Clapham or Peckham. We'll prepare everything ready for your arrival.
Freshness is at the heart of everything we do. Most of our fish comes directly from trusted suppliers who work closely with day-boat fishermen. By cutting out the middleman and avoiding the larger fish markets, we can bring you beautifully fresh fish with more time to enjoy it at home.
For the very best flavour and quality, we recommend enjoying your fish on the day of delivery. However, when stored correctly in the coldest part of your fridge, most fresh fish can be kept for up to 2–3 days.
We deliver all our fish ourselves, using our own refrigerated van rather than relying on third-party couriers. This means we're in complete control of your order from start to finish, ensuring your fish is handled with care, kept at the correct temperature and arrives beautifully fresh.
For now, we deliver to selected London postcodes, but we're working towards expanding our delivery service across the UK soon.
Pop your fish straight into the coldest part of your fridge, ideally between 0–4°C. If you're not cooking it that day, unwrap it from the paper and transfer it to an airtight container to keep it fresh.
Fish for the future? Most of our fish can also be frozen on the day of delivery. If a product isn't suitable for freezing, we'll let you know in the description above.
